    Home Run Derby Rules
FREE Home Run Derby (Friday 3pm-8pm, Finals at 8pm) -  Everyone who's in the Sin City Super Draft gets a Free Shot at the belt! This will be the OFFICIAL, UNOFFICIAL, Worlds Largest Home Run Derby with over 225 participants! Here's how it going to work:
~ Each team will be paired up with another team, and assigned a Field (Field 1 or 2) and a Qualifying Time on Friday Night.
~ 1 team will hit through all of their players, while the other team shags balls (I know this sucks, but we really need your help getting these balls back as we don't have 1,000 HR Derby Balls, hahaha). Each team will be limited to 30 Minutes to hit, so we need to keep people moving.
~ Each player supplies their own pitcher (guessing 1 or 2 people from your team could pitch to you) and will get 10 Swings, on 14 Pitches (you can watch up to 4 pitches)
~ Bats: Any current ASA or USSSA Bat
~ Balls: .47/525 Worth Super Blue Dots (These things are ROCKS, so dont risk breaking your favorite bat)
~ Men hit from Home Plate and Women hit from Pitchers Mound
~ After ALL teams have hit, we will take the Top 4 Scores from each Field, and seed them into an 8 Person Single Elimination Championship Bracket to determine the winner of the '18 Sin City Super Draft Home Run Derby! Why top 4 from each field? Because we use 2 fields, and in the event one field has difficult hitting conditions like a strong wind, we want to make its fair to people to qualify for the finals from both fields.
~ ~ In the event of a tie to determine the final 4 spots on each field, anyone who is part of the tie, will enter a 5 PITCH hit off until a Final 4 have been selected.
~ Championship Bracket will use same format as above: 10 Swings/14 Pitches Max and the person from each matchup who has the higher score moves on (every round starts over at 0 Home Runs Hit). Ties will use 5 Pitch format as illustrated above, with winner moving on.

2nd Chance Home Run Derby (Friday 8pm-9:40pm - Finals at 9:40pm)-  Anyone who wants to enter this derby must pay an entry fee of $15 (unless you prepaid during registration). Same rules apply here, but we will be taking the Top 4 qualifying scores to move on to a single elimination championship bracket and the winner will receive a bat or cash as a prize depending on how many participants in this. Same Balls and Same Bat Rules. You can sign up for this derby at the Spiderz Tent as soon as you get into town!
